There are four reasons why Wisingsö Hotell & Konferens has a developed and clear special diet policy.
1. We want to be able to give all guests an equally wonderful dining experience and high food quality - regardless of whether they have special dietary needs or not.
2. We want to avoid anyone getting hurt by being served food that the guest cannot tolerate.
3. Sustainability. Through structured work, we want to reduce food waste - which can be an increased risk factor for special diets.
4. We want to provide high service and offer guests the opportunity to choose whatever they want - but requests beyond a certain basic level come with a price.

WHAT IS SPECIAL DIET?
At Wisingsö Hotel & Conference, special diets are any food that has been changed/adjusted in relation to the food served to the entire group.
Special diets thus refer to both medical and allergy diets, ethical or religious diets, as well as lifestyle diets and personal preferences.

I korthet kan man säga att vi gärna säger ja till allt - men att specialkostönskemål utöver grundnivå kostar extra.
Policyn godkänns vid signatur av bekräftelsen.
SPECIALKOST GRUNDNIVÅ - INGÅR
• 100% växtbaserat (i folkmun veganskt) • Lakto-, ovo-vegetarisk (i folkmun vegetariskt) • Medicinsk specialkost (födoämnes allergi) så som gluten, mjölk, m fl (totalt 14 allergener) • Kulturell specialkost (matval utifrån region/kultur) tex fläsk. • Gravidkost
SPECIALKOST EXTRA
Följande specialkoster debiteras med +25% av menypriset.
• Allergier utöver 14 allergener (om det krävs) • Personliga preferenser och livsstilsdieter (tex LCHF, GI, Keto) • Komplicerade allergier som lök och multiallergier
Medicinsk och kulturell kost (ej fisk och kött) ersätts normalt med vegansk kost.
Tyvärr har vi ingen möjlighet att anpassa oss efter luftburen allergi.
Wisingsö Hotell & Konferens har inget emot att gäst med ytterst specifika kostbehov som inte kan tillgodoses av Wisingsö Hotell & Konferens har med sig egen mat till restaurangen. Menypris kvarstår som serveringsavgift.

• Gluten • Kräftdjur • Ägg • Fisk • Jordnötter • Soya • Mjölk • Nötter (mandel, hasselnöt, valnöt, cashewnöt, pekannöt, paranöt, pistaschmandel, makadamianöt) • Selleri • Senap • Sesam• Svaveldioxid och Sulfit (i koncentrationer på mer än 10 mg/kg eller 10 mg/liter) • Lupin • Blötdjur (snäckor, musslor och bläckfisk).
2. 14 DAYS BEFORE ARRIVAL
We need to receive special diet lists from guests in writing no later than 14 days before the event. Wisingsö Hotel & Conference Detailed Planning Tool is used.

If the Wisingsö Hotel & Conference Detailed Planning Tool is not used, 1000:- will be charged.
Wisingsö Hotell & Konferens' goal is always to be flexible and service-oriented - but in the event of late notification of special diets or late changes, Wisingsö Hotell & Konferens has the right to charge extra based on increased costs.
If our three-course Conference Menu is served, Wisingsö Hotell & Konferens will take the special diet list into account when creating the menu. Of course, in combination with the wishes of the host/organizer.
3. DURING YOUR STAY
When guests are seated, we always check to see if anyone at the table has a special diet.
When we serve starters and main courses, our ambition is that those with special diets receive their food at the same time as the other guests. When we serve dessert (and in some other cases), we always serve those with special diets first.
The table service manager is responsible for the special diet guests at their own table. When serving at another table, always ask what special diet is intended at the table.
If a guest accidentally eats the wrong food, the head waiter and the person in charge of the conference must be informed immediately. Wisingsö Hotell & Konferens is responsible for taking appropriate measures.
4. AFTER DEPARTURE
In connection with the billing documents/invoice, charges for special dietary management are reported.
The costs that may occur/incur are:
• Special diet beyond basic level, +25%
• Late arrival of special diets or late changes (5 days for allergens, 14 days for complicated or multi-allergies, +100%
• Fee for non-use of Wisingsö Hotel & Conference Detailed Planning Tool, 1000 SEK
• Deviations from pre-ordered special diets. That is, leftover special foods because those who ordered special diets ate regular food instead, +100%
